Privacy notice

1. Personal data we collect

Through the contact form and the support chat we may collect: full name, email address, phone number, company (for distributors), city, CATO model or product, a description of your case, and any files or photos you choose to attach.

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

2. Purposes of processing

Necessary purposes: following up on and answering your case, warranty, spare-parts request or commercial inquiry; contacting you by email, phone or WhatsApp; and routing you to the right team.

Secondary purposes: statistics and improvement of our products and services. If you do not want your data used for these purposes, let us know at atencion@cato.com.mx.

3. Data transfers

Your data is not sold or shared with third parties outside CATO, except for providers that supply services necessary to handle your request (for example, email or messaging) and where required by law or a competent authority.

4. ARCO rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify or Cancel your data, or Object to its processing, and to revoke your consent.

To exercise them, send your request to atencion@cato.com.mx with your name, the data concerned and a way to reply to you. We will respond within the deadlines set by law.

5. Use of WhatsApp

If you choose to continue your conversation on WhatsApp, the information you send there is also governed by WhatsApp's own policies. We recommend not sharing banking details or confidential information through that channel.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site may use browser local storage to remember your language and browsing preferences. We do not use these technologies to build individual profiles.
